FAQ

Is it necessary to book?

Yes. Activities take place in groups with an instructor. Activity times are updated in real time. Without a reservation, we cannot guarantee that the activities will take place. When booking the two-day package, a security deposit will be required.

Adverse weather or weather warnings?

In case of light rain or sudden summer showers, the park will continue to operate normally. In the event of thunderstorms or strong winds, the park will be closed. Since the route is entirely immersed in nature, the instructor may decide to exit the course early via an escape route, well before the bad weather arrives. In case of unfavorable weather, anyone who has made a reservation will receive an automatic message notifying them of the park’s closure.

What equipment will I need?

Flip-flops, sandals, and all open-toed footwear are not allowed, to ensure a better experience. We recommend: sneakers (or even better, trekking or trail shoes), a backpack, a k-way or shell jacket, and in cooler months, a sweatshirt or fleece. For the stream activity, a swimsuit and shoes you don’t mind getting wet are enough.

What should I do with my personal belongings?

You can leave bags or other items, including valuables, at the reception (base), where they will be stored individually along with the name on your reservation.

What about parking?

Since we are located within the Apuan Park area, we have a small private parking lot right in front of the reception. Additionally, there are other parking areas nearby, and you can easily reach the reception on foot in a short time.

How long do the activities last?

The duration of each activity is indicated in the specific sections.

Minors (-18)

Minors must be accompanied by an adult, who will need to complete and sign the informed consent form and ensure that they always follow the safety rules.

Limits for minors (-18)

The minimum age for the park is 8 years old (130 cm in height), although it also depends on the child’s confidence and ease. For other activities, please refer to the specific sections or request more information.

Accessibility

The activities require physical effort and maximum attention, both on the aerial course and the natural trail. The weight limit is 130 kg, provided the person’s physical condition is at least reasonably athletic.

Are there restrooms inside the park?

We have restrooms available:
At the River Trekking base (in the village)
At the park’s main base (reception): compost toilet, available for overnight stays in tents
One more compost toilet at the base camp, also for overnight tent stays

Can I bring my pet?

Our four-legged friends (or two, if they have wings) are always welcome in the park! However, unfortunately, they are not compatible with most of the activities. In this case, please ask if the dog-sitting service is available.

Is there catering (food service) inside the park?

There is no food service inside the park due to strict environmental regulations, but options can be found nearby.
