Alessandro
For friends… Piccia!! He’s the new manager of the Battiferro, personally entrusted by Adolfo himself.
Alessandro, also known as “Brevetto Man” (rumor has it he has more certifications than a mountain guide), is energetic, resourceful, and often stubborn.
Raised with skis on his feet, he’s an accomplished ski mountaineer… trekking instructor, and both instructor and rescuer in adventure parks.
He had taken a turn toward pole dance… but that’s another story!
He’s been part of the CAI (Italian Alpine Club) since birth and is the youngest member ever to be registered.
Brunella
Also known by her little nephew as “Aunt Pilollo,” she’s a serial heart seeker (in Parco del Battiferro alone, she counted 168 in a single day).
Brunella is a simple, cheerful, and energetic girl (just make sure there’s no couch within reach). She’s a true connoisseur of breathtaking sunsets and the wonders nature has to offer.
She’s new to this field, but she’s already said she’ll be taking care of the base — and we can pretty much guess why!
Aurora
The youngest of the crew, thrown into this world, looks around bewildered and wonders… what am I doing here?!?
Energetic and tireless, a true sea lover and TikTok dance expert — if you spot a little mermaid nestled in the Apuan Alps doing strange moves like a yeti, don’t be afraid… it’s her!
Adolfo
Energetic and full of life (where he found all that energy will remain a mystery), he sadly left us not long ago. But since he was the first to rediscover and manage Parco del Battiferro for 10 years, we felt it was only right to keep his name alive… because to us, it still feels like he’s here.
Adolfo was an old-school nature guide, a steady rock who taught so many.
Besides the park, he did a thousand other things and projects — no one knows where he found all that energy or the time (they say he didn’t even stop to eat). Like I said before… it will remain a mystery.
Ferruccio
A bit more diplomatic than Adolfo, he’s been his best friend for the past 15 years… they seemed like a couple (from what we know, it looks like they did everything together… the rest doesn’t concern us!!)
Ferruccio is a mountaineer and nature guide who was part of the Italian alpine rescue team, and together with Adolfo rediscovered Parco del Battiferro.
Nowadays, he prefers to stop at the restaurant — he says it’s better sitting at the table, no doubt about it… and we believe him!
Cristina
Adolfo’s wife, an energetic and tough woman (rumor has it that before getting married, she completed a real survival course… otherwise, it just doesn’t add up).
Legends say that every year, before the park’s opening, she would “gear up” and do a thorough cleaning like in the old days — even the stones shone after she passed by!
She has dedicated much of her time to the park and it’s her second home — we thought it only right that she still holds the keys.
